Tools of the Trade - The Milk Frother
I originally came across this gizmo because of my mother’s impulsive need to buy fun-looking things. Neither one of us knew what it was actually for, so we used it for a number of things. Here’s a run-down of what my family and I have used it for thus far.
whipping egg whites for super-fluffy omelets
homemade whipped cream
milk/coffee! (what it’s actually for, though plain frothy milk is pretty darn good on its own)
blending cornstarch into almond milk (for pudding — I’ll write that one down for you)
mixing powdered drinks
Clicking the picture brings you to a fairly cheap Amazon buy, though I picked mine up at a World Market for $1.50.
